Scottish Bluebell Pendant

Scottish Bluebell Pendant
Hand made in Scotland, this lovely pendant has a design inspired by the little Scottish Bluebell, a traditional symbol of the hardiness and resilience of the Scots people.

This piece is a member of our Scottish Bluebells collection, part of the Scots Range. The design has been inspired by the Scottish Bluebell, a wild flower which blooms across the Scottish hillsides in springtime, millions of blooms forming a sky-blue carpet between the trees. Although it is the thistle which is most commonly assicated with Scotland, the national flower is in fact the Scottish bluebell, and the pieces in this collection celebrate its beauty.

It is approx. 30 mm (1.1 inches) wide and comes with a 45 cm (18 inch) chain.
This piece is available in Sterling Silver as well as both 9 & 18 carat Yellow Gold. Each is hallmarked by the Assay Office in Edinburgh, Scotland and comes in an attractive case with descriptive notes and a lifetime guarantee.

  Background Info
All of the pieces in this great collection are hand-made from start to finish by the same jeweller, ensuring both quality of workmanship and job satisfaction.
How they are made.
They are brought to life in a workshop set by a stunning sea loch in the Shetland Islands, about 100 miles north of the Scottish Mainland.
Where they are made.
The loch abounds in wildlife, especially during the summer months. Arctic terns and other seabirds hover outside and wild otters are often seen from the windows.
