All of the pieces in our Taigh nan Creagannan collection are hand-made for us in the traditional manner by the Lewis silversmith, Ian Stewart-Hargreaves, shown here in his traditional long plaid kilt.
Each is made in Ian's workshop on the Isle of Lewis, one of the Outer Hebrides or Western Isles, situated about 30 miles off the northwest coast of Scotland.
Ian specialises in hand-wrought Sterling Silver kilt accessories, such as the lovely penannular brooch shown on Ian's shoulder above and in detail below.
'Taigh nan Creaganan' is Scots Gaelic for 'The House of Little Rocks', and is the name of Ian's workshop and home.
